I wanted to give you a quick (but juicy) update on my upcoming cryptid thriller, Red Eyes, which is now available for preorder here. Official release date: 30 July.
This story is darker, deeper, and more personal than anything I’ve written before. It peels back the terrifying reputation of a creature whispered about in hushed tones and shows you what happens when fear festers and grows into obsession. The book is structured in three distinct acts, and each one brings its own dose of suspense, heartache, and raw intensity.
The first quarter dives into Red Eyes’ origin story.
You’ll meet him not as a monster, but as a young Sasquatch who endures the unimaginable. What happens to him isn ’t just tragic. It changes him. Grief, isolation, and fury shape him into something driven, dangerous, and unforgettable.
The second quarter follows Daniel and Diana Beretti, Nicole’s parents.
They’ve built a quiet life on their property in Blackridge. But when Red Eyes enters their world, that quiet is shattered. This part of the story brings creeping dread, family bonds, and the brutal cost of crossing paths with a creature who remembers everything.
The second half is all Nicole Beretti and Noah Jacobi.
Now seasoned agents, they’re back in Blackridge chasing the truth about Nicole’s past. She’s not just solving a mystery. She’s confronting the creature that tore her world apart. Forest hunts, brutal encounters, and emotional revelations take center stage as they close in.
